Austin Permaculture Guild, Owner & Co-Director

Taelor is a wildling at heart. She is deeply passionate about healing our earth, our bodies, and our relationships with ourselves and one another. She revels in growing healthy soils, healthy bodies, and delicious home cooked meals. On the daily, she is out in the world designing and building food forests, veggie gardens, and edible landscapes. Resiliency and true health come from eating out of your own backyard. Taelor facilitates APG's Permaculture Design Certificate course, alongside Caroline Riley at the Whole Life Learning Center since 2013. She also teaches smaller workshop throughout the year centered around empowering others to grow their own food, and live by the permaculture (PC) philosophy. Her journey with PC began when she started a Permaculture centered intentional community called Sacred Roots in San Marcos, TX in 2011. Her utmost goal is to create community and educate others about regenerative permaculture design and practice. Her home base is in 2 tiny houses on 4.5 acres in the Hill Country. When she’s not gardening or cooking, she is out dancing at local music shows around Central Texas or spending time with her family.
