Lindsay’s passions include designing bat and solitary bee friendly habitat gardens and camping in Texas State Parks. Her current career has her coordinating volunteers at the Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin and she volunteers as a Master Naturalist. Lindsay holds a Bachelors in Environmental Science from Warren Wilson College and a Masters in Sustainability Studies focused on Critical Environmental Justice studies from Texas State University. She is currently independently researching and describing a currently undescribed species of oak gall wasp and leading a project to increase documentation of native bee species in Travis County. She is so excited to share with you how to support urban biodiversity and contribute to valuable citizen science research using iNaturalist.
