Bear Kittay is the Managing Partner of Kundavi, a development company focused on creative placemaking. He is currently leading a large-scale master planned community development project in Los Cabos, Mexico. It includes one of the largest private marinas in Latin America and is focused on innovative, regenerative development.
He is also the Managing Partner of the legendary Hotel El Ganzo, a 69 room art and music hotel with a recording studio, beach club, and three restaurants as well as the noteworthy Crania beach club and camp.
Bear was previously leading global development and special projects for Burning Man, where he spent time in 40+ countries on six continents and lead the acquisition of Fly Ranch, Burning Man’s year-round home.
In the previous decade Bear has founded and lead investment in several technology ventures including his latest venture Good Money, a revolutionary banking platform democratizing access to wealth creation.
He’s an active angel investor and has been recently focused on the blockchain space including being a founding investor in the unicorn Block.one, the issuer of EOS.
Bear is also an established recording artist, having released several acclaimed albums of original music. He has collaborated with a myriad of artists including Alex Ebert (Edward Sharpe), The North Mississippi Allstars, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads), and recently joined Norwegian sensation Erlend Øye (Kings of Convenience, Whitest Boy Alive) in a new project dubbed The Caged Dolphins where they proceeded to record 27 songs together. Øye produced Bear’s upcoming record “Quarantine at El Ganzo.”
